LEARN TO SAIL!
Lifelines Sailing School is a YMCA affiliated facility, associated with the American Sailing Association (ASA). Our courses are part of the ASA curriculum. Our goal is to inspire safe boating, and to infuse the student with the joy of sailing.
We have two sloops available for training: a 25' Catalina berthed at Pontiac Marina, on beautiful Bull Shoals Lake (BS), nestled in the hills of the Southern Missouri Ozarks, and a 33' Cape Dory on Lake Pontchartrain (LP) in historic Mandeville, Louisiana near New Orleans.
We offer a series of sailing courses, each building on the knowledge acquired from the preceding course. The courses are designed to develop the student's proficiency and confidence to a level that will allow them to charter or sail their own vessel on inland and coastal waters, perhaps cruising off one of the sun-splashed islands sprinkled across the warmer latitudes.
